NATURALLY DELICIOUS
Tanya O’Shea and Sophie Luff have turned their passion for all-natural, organic food into a thriving business.
Unable to find suitable treats for their children’s school lunch boxes, they ended up swapping thriving media and entertainment careers for the cupcake business. The result is The Cupcake Conservatory - delightful cupcake creations made from natural, organic ingredients and use organic fruits and vegetables to achieve their signature, soft pastel colours.
You can read all about The Cupcake Conservatory in the next edition of Food Bytes, every fortnight in Star Newspapers.
Speaking of cakes, here’s one of the easiest and best, as featured in Food Bytes:
Grab a bowl and pop in one cup of sifted self raising flour, one cup of caster sugar, 3 rounded tablespoons of sifted cocoa, 3 rounded tablespoons of butter or margarine, one third of a cup of milk and 2 eggs. Mix on medium speed for 3 to 4 minutes, pour into a greased, lined square or rectangular tin and bake at 180 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes. Enjoy!
